The PRD "T-Roll" has been successfully used within the NHS for a number of years.It is the T-roll of choice of many physiotherapists, and is also in use in teaching establishments. Manufacture is registered with the MHRA and uses the same high quality materials and manufacturing techniques applied to the operation theatre mattresses.
It has a permalon polymer sealed cover, that is flexible and resistant to fluids. Whenever possible all joins are welded to improve strength and to maintain a barrier against ingress of liquids.
Internally The T-roll has a cross-linked high resilient polymer foam structure that is designed to be comfortable, minimising the risk of pressure sores, whilst ensuring that the structure continues to act as an effective aid to patient positioning.
Generally the T-roll is used in three sizes;

Snug Removable Covers are also available. These are a soft absorbent cover that can be removed and washed. They are a useful aid if you wish to use the T-roll for multi-users, or if the user is susceptible to sweating (a possible cause towards sores).
